1. MODERNISATION OF GAS SUPPLY TO NAMRUP THERMAL POWER STATION (NTPS) OF ASEB       A MS Pipeline of 500mm NB with a capacity of transporting 0.80 MMSCMD of natural gas constructed for NTPS.     2. TRANSPORTATION OF GAS TO LAKWA THERMAL POWER STATION (LTPS) OF ASEB       Gas supply to LTPS by interconnecting the AGCL’s Lakwa Namrup pipeline with existing ASEB’s pipeline with a capacity to handle 0.50 MMSCMD of gas     3. JORHAT – GOLAGHAT DISTRICT GAS SUPPLY PROJECT.       Gas supply to more than 100 nos of Tea factories in Jorhat and Golaghat Districts. Several tea factories connected to the gas pipeline network while the several other tea factories has signed agreements already. A 300 mm NB diameter 120 kms MS pipeline had been laid from Lakwa to Golaghat. Most of the major rivers were crossed using the HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling) Technique to lay the pipe well under the river bed. Lakwa to Mariani with source at OIL, Duliajan Koraghat to Golaghat with source at ONGCL, Koraghat with a compressor station at Koraghat/ Sarupathar. Two major towns of Assam, Jorhat and Golaghat shall be connected with piped gas supply for Domestic/ Commercial consumers .     4. TRANSPORTATION OF GAS FROM KHUMCHAI AND KHARSANG FIELD OF ARUNACHAL PRADESH . A 150 mm MS pipeline is being laid as a turnkey project on behalf of Oil India Ltd from Khumchai in Arunachal Pradesh to Doomdooma in Assam. Assam Gas Company Ltd shall also operate and maintain the pipeline. 5. GAS SUPPLY TO NRL The company had already started preliminary work on the 500 mm high pressure gas pipeline from Duliajan to Numaligarh. Orders for fulfiliing the statutory requirements has been issued and detailed engineering, etc shall begin by November 2005.
